People download music and listens either offline or streaming online for different reasons. Music gives us excitement and energy to our usual everyday events, whether it’s commuting to work or doing our household chores. Since music is so important, is it easy to get or download music? Some say it’s difficult and some are not having a hard time. So what are the common issues of people downloading music?
Nowadays there are lots of software or programs in downloading music but the problem is which software or program to use? Is the tool you use is user-friendly, has a nice GUI (Graphical User Interface), efficient?
People have encountered a lot of times when they have found the music they like on a website or app and upon downloading, ended up with the wrong music.
Whether from a software, app or web from a known company or provider there are usually limitations. What I meant for limitations is either limited artist or music, limited download per day (free user) and limited due to a device used.
In the United States, the U.S. Digital Millennium Copyright Act is much more strict and deems copying of copyrighted music (with the exception of making a copy for your own use) as illegal. The U.S. Code protects copyright owners from the unauthorized reproduction, adaptation or distribution of sound recordings, as well as certain digital performances to the public. In more general terms, it is considered legal for you to purchase a music CD and record (rip) it to MP3 files for your own use only. Uploading these files via peer-to-peer networks would constitute a breach of the law.
Some online streaming sites are only available in some countries such as Spotify, Tidal and more.
It’s really difficult to navigate when you try to download and a lot of annoying ads show up or pop up from your screen.
If you try to download music from unfamiliar sites or app, most likely your device will be infected by malware. There has been an incident on Spotify last quarter of 2016 where free ads launched a malware to all platforms and subsequent reports suggest that it is a cross-platform problem, affecting mac OS and Linux machines.
These are some of the problems encountered by people and what I can recommend addressing this concern is by using Cinch Audio recorder.
