iPhone 8 will be released this fall of 2017 along with iPhone 7s and 7s Plus. There is so much anticipation for this premium handset which people will really love.
What to Expect on iPhone 8? | iPhone 10th Anniversary
Here is what you will expect:
Display and Design
A very much awaited due to a more bezel less design like the Samsung S8 Edge. It will have the fingerprint sensor, facial recognition, and home button that will be housed underneath the 5.8” display giving more to its large display. LCD display will be a thing in the past now since it will have a resilient OLED display to have a thinner iPhone handset and still have an amazing color display.
Apple will stick to a flat display instead of a curve one which we see on other smartphones nowadays.
It will have a longer battery life since it has the OLED display and the A11 chip. iPhone 8 will have a unique glass body with a stainless-steel frame, staying away from the aluminum body to give way for a wireless charging capability.
Although Apple will still retain the lightning connector but will be a type-C port to support fast charging.
iPhone 8 will be adapting a vertical order for the rear camera which is different from Samsung’s horizontal arrangement of camera. Its resolution will be about 12MP and supports a 3D photography which they are working with LG to make it happen.
Apple will feature also the optical stabilization of an image which other recent smartphone doesn’t have. This feature will only be available for the wide-angle lens.
The front camera will have a 3D sensing feature that will be useful for facial recognition in determining the depth and location of the object and the augmented reality will be further enhanced.
A nand flash memory will be added to the iPhone 8 to have an even more larger memory. The iPhone 7 has already a 256GB storage which means that the iPhone 8 could have more.
For RAM, it will have a higher RAM compared to iPhone 7 and 7s to have a better augmented reality experience.
A 3d touch will be implemented and improvement on the speaker to give a nice effect.
It has a more protection when it comes to waterproofing since it will have an IP68 which iPhone 7s and 7s Plus have only IP67.
A more fast and efficient handset will be expected since a A11 10nm chip is placed for a realistic effect improving visual and augmented reality.
Fingerprint scanning and facial recognition will be added for security like the Samsung S8 but let’s hope they could improve on it more of its usability and function.
Rumor has it that it could be the expensive iPhone yet. A lot of talk in regards with the price but mostly basing on the gossip it will be a 4-digit handset starting from the minimum of $900 to $1000 plus.
iPhone 8 focuses more on the display, longer battery life and improvement on the specs. It will be the most sold handset compared to the 7s and 7s Plus with only a slight enhancement on the specs but differ greatly on the price.
These are just based on leaks or informations which we have received online. We will get to know its actual features during the launch of this wonderful device which is on September 2017. I am certainly excited to grab this device and I hope you are waiting for it too.
