Operating System & Processor: Micromax A116 Canvas HD comes with Jelly Bean (Android 4.1 OS) and is powered by Quad-Core MediaTek Processor 1.2 GHz.  This is Micromax’s first smart phone with Quad-Core Processor.  This device has 1 GB RAM which helps in providing a very good computing speed.

Appearance: It’s a 5 inch touch screen dual SIM phone with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels and 144 x 74 x 10.7 mm in size.  So it looks almost similar to Galaxy Note II in size.  It has IPS display which is ideally used in high-end monitors which provides a bright clear display.

Camera: Primary Camera (8 Megapixel) and Secondary Camera (0.3 Megapixel) with all basic features like Digital Zoom, LED Flash, Autofocus etc.  It also supports HD Recording.
