Today we will learn how to do Mobile Balance Transfer for different networks with ease.  Mobile Balance Transfer is a very handy Top Up option which is available on Networks like Vodafone, Airtel, Aircel, Idea, BSNL and Tata DOCOMO.  Imagine that your friend is out of town travelling and is left with very low balance, asking you to top up his account.  In such instance you can top up your friends account using Balance Transfer process with ease.  This process doesn’t require any Internet Connection, Credit Card, Debit Card or Direct Top-Up card; instead it just requires some Balance in your Account.  This technique will be very handy on emergency or demanding situations.  Now let’s see how to do Mobile Balance Transfer for different networks.

Vodafone

Dial: *131*<Amount>*<Receiver’s Number># (E.g. *131*30*9820098200#)

Transfer Limit: 5 Rupees to 30 Rupees

Service Charge: 2 Rupees (5 Rupees to 9 Rupees transfer); 3 Rupees (10 Rupees to 19 Rupees transfer); 4 Rupees (20 Rupees to 30 Rupees)

Note: Sender can transfer just once a day and Receiver can receive balance up to 3 times a day.  Also the processing charge differs with State)

Airtel

Dial: *141# and follow the instructions

Transfer Limit: 5 Rupees to 50 Rupees

Note: Sender should have 20 Rupees as their minimum balance to avail this facility

Aircel

Dial: *122*666# and follow the instructions

Transfer Limit: 5 Rupees to 100 Rupees

Service Charge: 1 Rupees per transaction

Note: Sender can transfer just once a day and transfer can be possible only between two prepaid numbers

Idea

Dial: *567*<Receiver’s Number>*<Amount>#

Transfer Limit: 10 Rupees to 50 Rupees

Service Charge: 2 Rupees per transaction

Note: Sender can transfer just once a day

BSNL

SMS: Type GIFT<space><Receiver’s Number><space><Amount> and send it to 53733 (E.g. GIFT 9000000000 50)

Transfer Limit: 5 Rupees to 50 Rupees

Tata DOCOMO

You should be a BuddyNet user in order to avail this facility in Tata DOCOMO. To know more about BuddyNet CLICK HERE

SMS: Type BT<space><Receiver’s Number><space><Amount> and send it to 54321 (E.g. BT 9000000000 50)

Transfer Limit: 5 Rupees to 50 Rupees

Service Charge: 1 Rupee per transaction
