Samsung has announced that it will launch its new Galaxy S4 on April 26, 2013 with lots of new specifications and new features. The Sony Xperia Z is another very popular Smartphone among tech savvy’s recently launched by Sony. Technical Specification of Galaxy S4 and Xperia Z
Samsung Galaxy S4 is expected to run on Android 4.2.2 (Jelly Bean) OS where as Sony Xperia Z currently runs on Android 4.1.2 (Jelly Bean) which is expected to upgrade in its next launch.
Samsung galaxy S4 has Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 600 processor in the U.S. and U.K. variants of the flagship. Elsewhere in the world, the Galaxy S4 will ship with Samsung’s own Exynos 5 Octa processor that has been demonstrated in prior benchmark tests to outperform Qualcomm’s chips. Samsung has assured that there will not be any difference in performance. The Xperia Z has a 1.5GHz quad core Krait Qualcomm MDM9215M/APQ8064 CPU and Adreno 320 graphics card so processor is a strong component for Xperia Z.
Here Both Xperia Z and Galaxy S4 have 2 GB RAM. 16/64 GB internal storage options are there for Galaxy S4 which is 16GB for Xperia Z. This storage can be expanded up to 64 GB in both the smart phones using external micro SD.
Sony Xperia Z includes a 2330 mAh battery that is non removable like apple iPhone. Samsung Galaxy S4 has a 2600 mAh removable battery and here tech savvies’ having conflictions with their thoughts but I think Galaxy S4 leads.

Both Xperia Z and Galaxy S4 offers 13 MP primary camera with 2 MP front camera along with features like face detection, geo tagging, red eye correction etc.

Design and Durability
Sony Xperia Z is already getting very popular among business class and youngsters for its design and durability as it is a water proof and dustproof phone which has already been tested in all conditions. Now Samsung Galaxy S4 is far much ahead than its predecessor due to its rich look design which is also planning to launch waterproof, dustproof and scratch proof version of Galaxy S4 soon.
Samsung Galaxy S4 costs a little higher than the Sony Xperia Z. Both of the smart phones cost around 40,000 INR that seems to be feasible according to their specification.
